Originally from the East Coast, she discovered yoga while studying at NYU where yoga was a required course to her theater/dance major. Her first studio class was at Yoga to the People in the East Village and she went on to study at Jivamukti before moving to LA. While in LA, she studied Kundalini, Anusara and Power Vinayasa Flow, until she found her current teacher, Shiva Rea. Erin has completed 100 hours of training with an Anusara inspired school and 200 hours with Shiva Rea in Prana Vinyasa Flow. She is currently in the process of completing her 500 hours with Yoga Tree. Erin’s intention is that you leave her class feeling renewed and at home in your own body. She is passionate about sharing yoga with underserved populations and taking yoga outside the studio. She currently works with Niroga Institute and RISE, teaching yoga to at-risk youth.
